The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel is the latest hotel to become one of the official 5 host hotels for Dragon*Con.
The Westin Peachtree plaza was added back to the official hotel list for Dragon*Con 2011 after many years as an overflow hotel, and having served as a host location from 1994-97. The change to official host hotel came after some panels and events were moved here in 2010 due to renovations at other hotels. The Westin sits roughly 2 blocks from the Hyatt and the Sheraton. The parade passes by this location.

Hotel Hints
- Make use of the Peachtree Center Mall! The mall is steps away from the Westin making this pretty much a level-ground walk. Once inside the mall, there is a food court to get your grub on from a wide variety of food establishments. One can access the Hyatt and Marriott via air conditioned habitrails (skywalk) making the walk to the "main action" host hotels more pleasant in the hot-lanta heat.

It seems Westin has officially been changed to a host hotel this year. Just looked at the main D*C site. However, all the rates and codes remain the same.

Figured that would happen once they hosted a few events there this year this year. Pages have been updated. Thanks for the heads up!
